The Lady of Pinot Noir
Marie-Noëlle Ledru is a legendary figure in the world of Champagne, known for her dedication to quality and her artisanal approach. The Marie-Noëlle Ledru winery spans 6 hectares of estate land in the two Grand Cru villages of Ambonnay and Bouzy.

History and Philosophy
Marie-Noëlle Ledru began her career in the Champagne world in 1984, taking over the reins of the family business. Her philosophy is based on meticulous vineyard management and traditional production methods. With limited production management, Ledru has always focused on quality over quantity, which has led to her Champagnes being highly sought after by enthusiasts and industry experts. Champagne production ceased in 2017, making the bottles currently on the market unique.
The Vineyards
The winery owns vineyards located in the finest terroirs of Ambonnay and Bouzy, two of the most prestigious villages for producing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Ambonnay is known for its ability to produce powerful, complex wines with great aromatic depth. The vineyards are cultivated with great attention to the environment, often using sustainable and organic viticulture practices.
Winemaking
Marie-Noëlle Ledru personally oversees every stage of winemaking, from manual harvesting to fermentation and aging. She uses indigenous yeasts and practices lengthy aging on the lees to develop complexity and finesse in her Champagnes. The winemaking process is characterized by minimal intervention, striving to preserve the characteristics of the terroir as much as possible.
