It's a family-run winery located in Senkvice, 30 kilometers northeast of Bratislava, in the hills of the Little Carpathians. In 1989, after the end of the Cold War, Margita and Ladislav took over a company founded in 1942. Today, they grow typical Slovakian grape varieties, such as the white Rizlillng Rynsky and the red Frankovka Modra. The soils are highly varied, ranging from fertile loess sand to clay and granite. The whites are fresh and minerally, the reds fruity and structured. Vineyard area: 50 hectares.
